Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SEOCheckPilot ("the Service"), operated by SeoCheckPilot ([FILL IN: legal form, e.g. sole proprietorship / GmbH / Ltd], [FILL IN: street and number, postcode and city], [FILL IN: country]) — "we" or "us". By using the Service you agree to them. The Service has free features and paid subscriptions; sections 5–8 apply only if you buy a paid plan.

SEOCheckPilot provides website SEO audits, free SEO and AI checker tools, and AI visibility tracking (how often AI engines mention or cite a brand). Results are produced automatically, are for information only, and can be incomplete or wrong. How results are produced, and their limits, is described on the methodology page.

Many tools work without an account. If you create one, provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and tell us about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You agree not to:

• Scan websites you do not own or have permission to analyse in ways that could harm them
• Use the Service for illegal purposes, or to attack, overload or circumvent the security of any system
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape the Service at scale, or reverse-engineer it
• Resell the Service itself, or present its results as your own product without attribution

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.

Free features are provided without charge and may change. Fair-use rate limits and the monthly AI-scan quota shown on the pricing page apply.

• Plans. Paid plans and what each includes are described on the pricing page at the time you subscribe.
• Free trial. Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price until you cancel.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to your subscription. You can cancel before it takes effect.

You can cancel at any time from your account page (billing portal), with no need to contact us. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer, including any right of withdrawal where it applies.

We may change or discontinue features. If we remove a feature that is a material part of a paid plan you are subscribed to, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period you have not used.

You keep all rights to data you submit. You give us the rights needed to run the Service for you (for example, fetching URLs you submit and sending prompts to the AI providers listed on the sub-processors page). We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that results are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Review recommendations before acting on them.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms. For material changes affecting paid subscribers we will give at least 30 days' notice by email. The date at the top shows the current version.
