Pixel-Length Checker
Google truncates titles at ~600px and descriptions at ~920px — measured by font pixel width, not character count. Wide characters like W and M consume more space than i and l, so a character limit misses the point. This tool uses canvas font measurement to give you the exact pixel width your text will render at.
What gets checked
- Title tag pixel width (desktop & mobile)
- Meta description pixel width
- H1 heading width estimate
- Visual progress bar with OK / Warn / Over states
- Character count alongside pixel count
- Instant measurement as you type

Why pixel width matters: Google truncates text by pixel width, not character count. Wide characters (W, M) consume more space than narrow ones (i, l, f). A title with "WWW" truncates at ~18 characters; one using "iii" might fit 60+. Use the SERP Preview to see the full visual simulation.
