Rich Results

Enhanced search result appearances (star ratings, images, prices, FAQs) enabled by structured data markup on your pages.

Rich results are special Google Search result features that go beyond the standard blue link + description snippet. They are powered by structured data (Schema.org markup) on your pages and can significantly increase click-through rates by making your listing more visually prominent and informative.

Active rich result types (2026): Article/News (headline + image + date), Product (price + availability + rating), Recipe (image + time + calories + rating), HowTo (steps + time), Event (date + location), JobPosting, Video (thumbnail + duration), and Sitelinks Searchbox. FAQPage and HowTo rich results were deprecated for most sites in 2023 but the underlying schema remains useful for AI.

Test your structured data with Google's Rich Results Test tool. Eligible pages are not guaranteed rich results — Google uses them at its discretion based on quality and relevance. Track rich result performance in Search Console under the Enhancements section.
